Covington Rotary Annual Auction
We are preparing for the Gala event of the year to be held on Saturday May 2nd 2026.
This is a special year for our country as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of our nation’s Declaration of Independence! There will be a costume contest so we encourage attendees to dress in their favorite period costume or wear Red, White & Blue if you can!
The objective of the Rotary Club of Covington Foundation is to provide money for local and international projects and our goal for this year’s auction is to raise $150,000. This year’s Raise-The-Paddle recipient is the Covington Storehouse Backpack Buddies program but some of our other key projects include:
- Helping to alleviate food insecurity for local school children
- Funding college scholarships for local students
- Funding and coordinating Covington’s Purple Lights Night event to raise awareness of Domestic Violence.
- Elk Run Farm’s Community Learning Garden
- Supporting international projects in Brazil, Ukraine and Central America.

The online auction starts on April 29th at 12am and ends May 2nd at 7pm.
The list of auction items already includes stays at several vacation homes, port and wine tastings, various sports games, work parties so you can finally take care of that home or garden project, vacation packages, and other items of interest!
